What we do

Industrial dismantling

Controlled removal of equipment, process lines and steel structures in operating plants or at end of life: cutting, handling and removal organised in shutdown phases.

Dismantling without stopping the plant

Most operations take place in an occupied plant: production runs a few metres away, live networks pass above the work area and shutdown windows are short. Each phase is planned from the site survey — order of removal, cutting points, lifting equipment and removal routes — so that the area is handed back clean at the end of every shutdown.

We handle both equipment replacement, removing the old unit and installing the new one within the same window, and the complete dismantling of a line or a technical building.

What we remove
  • Piping lines, manifolds and utility networks
  • Vessels, tanks, heat exchangers and skids
  • Steel structures, walkways, stairs and handrails
  • Conveyors, hoppers and process equipment
  • Supports, bearings and steel plinths
  • Making good: blanking, capping and cleaning

Preparation

  • Site survey and inventory
  • Energy isolation agreed with the client
  • Cutting and lifting plan
  • Risk assessment per phase

Cutting and removal

  • Mechanical cutting and oxy-fuel cutting
  • Items removed in handleable sections
  • Lifting with equipment matched to the load
  • Temporary propping of load-bearing structure

Removal from site

  • Segregation of materials by stream
  • Scheduled loading and departure from site
  • Routing to a licensed operator
  • Area handed back clean and clear

Safety, energy isolation and environment

No cutting starts before isolation: electricity, steam, process fluids and compressed air are isolated and verified with the site manager. On networks that have carried chemicals or flammables, draining and flushing are confirmed in writing before we enter. On refrigeration circuits, refrigerant recovery is carried out beforehand by a certified operator.

Work at height with collective protection wherever possible, platforms and lifting equipment with current inspection certificates, and segregation of metal waste for recovery.

Asbestos. Asbestos removal is excluded from our scope. Where a prior survey reveals asbestos, removal is entrusted to a licensed contractor before we begin.
